About the Doctor

Dr. Stanley B. Piltin completed his undergraduate education at Florida Tech before entering New York Chiropractic College.  In 1980 he graduated with honors earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  He then entered private practice in his hometown of Plainfield, N.J. until 1982 when he opened at his present location.  For several years he maintained a second office in Ship Bottom, N.J. on Long Beach Island.

He continued his educational pursuits by completing extensive post-graduate training in diagnostic radiology and orthopedics.  In 1997 he achieved Board Certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics by the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists and is now a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedics.  Dr. Piltin has been very active in his professional organizations, serving as President of the Southern New Jersey Chiropractic Society for two years and on the board of directors for more than ten years.  He also served on various committees for the New Jersey Chiropractic Society and has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for Dedication to and Achievement on Behalf of the Chiropractic Profession.  Dr. Piltin is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and their Council on Sports Injuries and Council on Diagnostic Imaging.  He is a member of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists and the American Academy of Spine Physicians.  He is a certified Active Release Technique practitioner.  He is a certified Back School instructor and is a member of the Phi Chi Omega International Scholastic Honor Society.  He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York.  Dr. Piltin has been invited to speak on various health related issues to organizations, on radio, and television.  He has taught state approved continuing medical education programs for local paramedics. 

Dr. Piltin has been very active in community service with the Stratford-Lindenwold Rotary and has served on their Board of Directors.  He is certified in veterinary chiropractic techniques and has had the unique opportunity to be a consultant to the Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River, NJ for the care and treatment of exotic animals such as African Lions and a Jaguar.  Dr. Piltin is married and has two children.
